At Aii Chbar Ampov Campus, our Pre-Kid 02 students had a wonderful time participating in “Mini Laundry Day,” a Practical Life activity designed to build independence and coordination through simple everyday tasks.
In this activity, students practiced hanging small clothing items such as socks, gloves, handkerchiefs, and baby shirts on a clothesline using clothespins. Although there was no washing involved, the focus was on careful handling, balance, and placement of each item.
Core Objectives of the Activity:
1. Develop Fine Motor Skills: Pinching and pressing clothespins helped strengthen finger muscles and hand-eye coordination.
2. Encourage Independence: Students learned to complete the task on their own, boosting confidence.
3. Build Concentration and Patience: They followed step-by-step actions to hang each item neatly.
4. Promote Responsibility: Handling clothing items taught them to take care of personal belongings.
5. Introduce Real-Life Situations: The activity connected classroom learning to everyday home routines.
Through “Mini Laundry Day,” our young learners enjoyed a fun, practical experience while developing important life skills. At Aii Chbar Ampov, we make learning meaningful—one small task at a time!
